My banker is Sprinte Sacre for the Arkle - nailed on.

I'm having a look at James Ewart's horses for each way value - he's got some decent horses and good facilities up in Scotland so some of the prices seem to be generous. It'll only be a couple of quid each way but I reckon there is value there. He's got the Giant Bolster in still for the Gold cup at 66-1 and read he actually fancied getting a place.

If Grand Crus doesn;t run in the gold cup but picks another one I'll back it in that I think.

Cheers for the reply mate, and yeh i've got to agree with regards to Sprinter Sacre, now it's been confirmed Peddlers is going for the Jewson can't see anything stopping SS.
And cheers mate i'll check out some of his horses, Patrick O'Brady normally sends the odd big priced runner up to cheltenham aswell that normally nicks a place so watch out if he has the odd one running.
Gold cup is the hardest one to call imo, I thought Kauto would have it this year as he has been beating LR all season and it appears he just had a bad season last season but with the fall even if he gets their i'd be cautious, i can see Long Run getting beat but just can't decide who by, Grands Crus would be a very interesting runner, if he don't run i reckon we could well see a big priced winner this year

Hurricane Fly is the banker and will take a drift on the because of the tv pundits hyping up all the English horses. My biggest tips are Horatio Hornblower for the bumper and Shadow Catcher for the JCB.
After that There's not a hope of Grand Crus running the Gold Cup Long Run will win it purely because he will handle the hill far better than Kauto.
Quevega is a banker aswell i also don't think Sprinter Sacre is as nailed on as people think if Al Ferof can get him into a battle 1 on 1 up the hill Al Ferof will outstay him.To be quite honest your best bets are.
Hurricane Fly.
Quevega.
Long Run.
Ruby Walsh to be top jockey.
Willie Mullins to be top trainer.

Seriously looking forward to the festival this year. With the exception of Big Bucks and HF, i honestly dont see there being too many short priced winners this year. To me it looks on paper like on of the most open festivals in years. So much so that i am leaving most of my selections down to 'gut instinct' on the day. BRING IT ON!!!

Bet you were happy Chameleon!!! I was on step to freedom unfortunately but was glad to see Sprinter Sacre romp home. What a performance - future gold cup winner I reckon.

Looked at both of those, was leaning towards Royal Guardsman in the last today though (and Horation Hornblower from left field).

In the four o clock I reckon First Fandango could be each way value - fourth to rock on ruby in it's last race.

Carickboy let me down big time yesterday
