De Gea 8 for me another top performance looked rock solid

I watched the game in a bar and some people I was with said De Gea was at fault for the game. I'm not sure. Was he?

ferdinand was man of the match by far

How can he be at fault he was blind to the shot two defenders in way he couldn't see it until it was in net

Carrick was a bit sloppy in his passing today, giving away possession a few times.

*at fault for the goal

jones deserves more than a six, granted he had a few ropey moments in the first half but he battled on well in the second, despite taking a few knocks. evans was equally as good as ferdinand also and must be our most improved player this season.

_______________

I said the same; it was a clever shot by Defoe who used Ferdinand's body as a shield.

Glad to see a sensible rating for Nani.

When was his last decent game? Its now 4 shockers in a row isnt it? (counting from Ajax 1st leg)

Nani needs to find his early season form again. I don't know what it is but he doesn't seem as brave when it comes to taking on players. Maybe he's lacking a bit of confidence

Think rooney was worth atleast a 7

nani's not long back from injury so i'm prepared to cut him some slack for now. don't forget that valencia also took time to get back into the swing of things when he came back from injury earlier in the season.

De Gea was decent today. Ferdinand slightly edges Evans. Jones and Evra did ok too, both get slated yet they got in a good couple of clearances each and never stopped running. Scholes and Carrick werent great today, Young took his goals well, Nani did nothing again, Rooney improved as the game went on and Welbeck linked up pretty well despite our being on the back foot for most of this game.

nani was lucky to get 5, he was woeful today....glad Young is playimg well again and hopefully Valencia back next week.....then nani to the bench to buck up his ideas!

It was a poor performance.

Yet again de gea pulled of a very good save, i think it was at 1-0 and despite what the media and some of our own fans try and say he's saved us more than he's cost us this season in my opinion.

We've just came through the run of fixtures that a lot of people though would de-rail Uniteds title bid and we're 2 points off top, considering some of the fixtures that City have and the game at Eastlands in april we could well be in the box seat for the title this season, which, if i'm being honest, i didn't really think we would be in .

Well done boys.

Utd are in a very good position now. I know it's not won on paper but looking at the fixture Fergie will be very confident. Away wins at Arsenal, Spurs and Norwich and a draw at the bridge was impressive. City have quite a few tricky fixtures

We've taken 20 points, of a possible 24, off Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool and Chelsea this season. I would never have thought we'd get that many at the start of the season.

If it wasn't for oil, we'd be running away with the league.

how people can still think that gary cahill is better than rio ferdinand is beyond me.

Colin.

What's that figure....days since we last beat you.....

Does anything really think that ole?! He makes Luiz look solid!

To be fair, Nani should be given a negative score (-7)

He's been abysmal of late. It's funny, there are no articles slating him though. If that was someone else, all hell would break loose
