According to the BBC website SA cannot overtake England even if they win the remaining two tests. They also said SA must win both to remain second. It seems crazy to me but that's what the article said.

To be honest I don't really rate this Sth.African team as much, albeit on paper the same as India they do look strong but are not putting bat to ball.
As for N-Z having to lose 3-0 or 1-0 for Sth.Africa to become No.1 is a joke....if they are No.2 then it should wait until July/Aug when they tour England to decide who is ranked No1 and not a defeat down under without England taking part....I don't mind the system it just needs some tinkering with I feel.
