I don't know how I feel. I don't want to be a plastic fan knee-jerker, and I feel Kenny has done a lot of good for us since his return, helping to steady the ship. But I'm sick of standing up for his tactics, yes it was a 'freak result' but could you imagine any of the top 4 capitulating like that? I can't.
I want to give him time, to see where he takes us, to see if we improve, but I at the same time have very little faith. Even before the game I sensed something was amiss - we don't have a winning mentality. We're complacent. The tactics don't make sense a lot of the time, yet for large portions of the season we've played well, just haven't finished as such. So who's to blame? The players? Well who brought them in?
I don't know, I really don't know what I think and how we move forward.
I'm rather confused.

To be honest, I don't even know if he'd come to us right now.

I am on the fence with you too Zed.
Taking us to Wembley twice is a worthy achievement given our relative paucity of success in recent years, but our league form is hideous.
Even with our league form though, in so many games we have been so close, it's not like we have been really bad game after game (results have this year, but not performances).
I am minded to give Kenny the summer and the first 12 games of next season and then re-assess.

The team Kenny put out had us 2-0 up away from home. Nothing wrong with the personnel just stupid mistakes again cost us.
I would give KK another season personally. These players as a group will learn from that game and the hunger will grow. Silly mistakes cost us the game, and to ship 3 goals in 15 minutes is a killer, but knee jerk is not the way.
Find the positives and move on.

I think you might be right Ham, it's just so dissapointing. I shall sleep on it and reassess in the morning. Sigh.

Can I just say though, Coates is going to be a worldbeater in a couple years time.
