James Milner ............

...... a possibility or just the usual media gibberish?

Before Milner signed for City, I can remember plenty of people on the bbc606 boards rating him very highly and wanting him to sign for Liverpool.

Me personally I was one of those people, my opinion of him still hasn't changed and if "rumours" are true I'd have him in a heartbeat.

I thought that Milner was the only player in the Premiership who could play easily off either foot, something Downing, Young, A Johnson & N'Zogbia can't do!

He can also play in a centre midfield role, although that isn't really important to us seeing as we're "loaded" in that dept.

Good signing - £15m max ??

The press are flailing around for stories on Liverpool and there not coming out, hence more garbage. If their right it's probably by accident.

If Henderson is £20m then Milner is £40m

Why would we let milner and Johnson go to Liverpool?
Both played over 80% that they were fit for,you coudnt afford their wages,we won't sell to a rival and we don't need the money.Apart from that I think you've got a good chance of a double swoop

How about because they didn't play enough football and there both unhappy. You have to reduce your wage bill, which is over 100% of your overall turnover!

Your in the same boat as Liverpool when it comes to players who aren't good enough, yet pick up huge sallarys for doing nothing. Infact I'd say that you've got more players like that than us!

Is just warming himself up for Andy Murray later. He's got the tissues and the baby oil all ready.

Tennis.

On the OP - Both Milner and Johnson are great players. Would happily take either.

If Milner came it would be to play as part of a midfield 4-3-3, however if we are interested in bench warming city players, Adam Johnson every day of the week.

Young is also very comfortable using either foot.

Milner is not the type of palyer to move Liverpoool forward. If you want to remain mid table then he is your man.

Ashley "World Class" Young?

Seriously?

Milner is a much more complete footballer than Young.

I'm not Milner's biggest fan, but I can't see how Young moves Manchester Utd forward at all either.

Perhaps you could explain?
