Comes a time...........

Hi 'Pool fans.
First of all, I'm sure I speak for all Wanderers fans in thanking the supporters of other clubs for their best wishes in respect of Fabrice Muamba.
I would like to make an observation, and that is all it is, about the 'misgivings' of many Liverpool supporters on the progress of your club under the stewardship of Kenny Dalgleish.
Now I'll be the first to admit that at first I found the subject manna from heaven,as most footy fans probably did, we like nothing more than the banter arrising from the failings of the once mighty.( Now NONE of you guys can say you haven't revelled in the failings of your rivals).
The point I would like to make , though, is that there comes a time when you take a second look and begin to feel sorrow rather than amusement at the predicament a legend of football finds himself in.
Watching Kenny Dalgleish in recent pre match and post match conferences and interviews is almost painful.
I get the impression he is in turmoil and just not enjoying the job.
It may not come to the question of will he be backed or sacked.
A person, in whatever field he works in, who is so affected by his emloyment that he displays constant miserableness, could just walk away at any moment, first of all to save face, secondly, to preserve sanity.
Whatever the outcome, I now am beginning to feel very sorry for Kenny Dalgleish, and would prefer to remember him as a brilliant player, always as sharp with his tongue as he was with his feet.
I don't want to remember him as a broken man.
Come on, cheer up Kenny!
You have a wonderful back catalogue of experience fall back on.
Sorry for banging on, it is meant from the heart.

Kenny is a Jock. I too am a Jock. Looking and sounding miserable is a Jock thing. You foreigners just can't understand, can you? It's bred in us, that's the way it goes, get on with it. We're known for being obnoxious too, although that comes with a bit of training as well as heritage. Yeah, miserable, obnoxious, and happy with it too, that us! Work that one out if you can. In the meantime, leave my manager alone, he's managing fine. JimmyTheRed
