Hamilton doesn't celebrate pole

Before the presumptions of this article kick in, just want to let you all know that yes, I am speaking as an outright Hamilton fan, but I can assure you this is not a WUM article. So here goes.
The BBC reports that Lewis doesn't celebrate after exiting his car at pole position and lets off a light smile as he walks into the FIA garage for weighing and the sorts.
I can think of 2 reasons for this:
1) Lewis is fully aware of track, circuit, atmosphere conditions for the weekend and the brutality of the assault on the body that Malaysia kicks up. So he is solely concentrating on what he has to do to win the race.
or
2) Could it be true? After last week's start, Lewis is worried that Button can pull the same feat. out again? Was Hamilton's smile plagued with re-runs of seeing his team mate pass him into the first corner? Will Button come out on top again this year? (I hope not).

Anyone else's thoughts?

Either way, I look forward to the race, though I cant watch it live (student). I really hope to god Schumacher stays in the top 3, I cant see Webber pushing him too hard, what Vettel does is a different story though. Good luck to Raikonnen too, I think its going to be a hell of a race. all 6 world champions in the top 10 qualifying in (apart from the Ferrari) equal cars!

If his cackhanded Team Management and his Team Mechanics have their way, the same things as happened last week will undoubtedly occur again.
Personally, i think he made an error of judgment in not changing Teams.

He knows it's not won on a Saturday, don't think there's much more too it

Time will tell I suppose, gone are the days of "whoever gets pole is going to win". Formula One is back and I love it how it is now, only exceptions Im not happy with anymore is engine size/power and aerodynamic restrictments.. Ah well, as previously said, I cant wait!

As for SkyGo, my ex gave me her password and account, guess that got wiped when I split up with her haha

To be fair, pole doesn't mean anything unless it's converted to a win - and I just hope that's exactly what he does tomorrow (as a Hamilton fan myself).

Also, we may have just got so used to that annoying German celebrating and shoving his index finger in the air every time he was on pole last year, which was quite often if my memory serves me right.

He actually did a fist pump but the Beeb will always look for a way to bash him.

If he wins tomorrow, you will see him celebrate. Its great to not see that annoying finger again.

No blown diffuser and the red bulls are struggling. Seb the best ever indeed.

Hamilton's face and Button's feat.....
Strange mix!

"Either way, I look forward to the race,"

If only a certain team had allowed one it could have been great.

Anybody else notice (and wonder why) Perez didn't use his DRS when he could?

Soon explained, wasn't it?

The engine suppliers made a call and said, we do not care if you are faster than Fernando, do not overtake.

ManU i had a lot of respect for you, but now I see that ur nothing but a brainless tool, so far you have said nothing on Mclaren or Hamilton!

I forecast what would happen to Hamilton vis a vis Team Management and Mechanics. What a shambles they made of his Pitstop......Yet again.

Tshe, whilst I believe you are a member of the tin foil hat brigade. I do agree that Mclaren aree making some very strange decisions. For example, last week Jenson was infront and was allowed to pit first, this week Lewis was infront and Jenson pitted first. Jenson went to intermediates first and had an accident and wasn't criticised. If it was Hamilton, there would be 100s of articles. The pitstops were shambolic as well

However, Jenson was also screwed by the team. Bad set of inters and forced to stay out for ages. Mclaren are working hard to scupper their title challenge.

Whitmarsh needs to sort this nonsense out as they've got the best drivers on the grid and an amateur pit crew/strategies are costing the team
