Kenny and Blackburn

Is Kenny still in love with the blackburn fans?

Because he seems to be giving them what they want and helping all the teams around them get points that, let's be honest, they shouldn't be getting.

So my theory is Kenny has seen the protests from the fans about wanting Kean out and maybe he has felt a little sorry for them due to the fact that the Venkeys won't kick him out....

Just a thought.

On a serious note, I am seriously starting to worry about us, I could deal with playing brilliant football and just not finishing of the chances, that only takes a little tweak here and there but now we are being out played by lower teams. We can go below Swansea, Everton and Sunderland by the end of the week!

Another problem i have is Carragher is still getting game time. There is no doubt the guy is an absoulute legend but he has been at fault for about 3/4 goals in the last 2 games ! Coates should be starting whilst Agger is out, he is young and could do with the experience. In my opinion he will be a star in 3/4 years.

Whilst on the subject of young players, I thought Sterling was great when coming on. Maybe that was just a reaction from the fact that it is March and it was the first time i saw someone run at the defender, but i think i speak for everyone when i say the boy did well .... or at least nearly everone, what on earth was Kenny thinking with his reaction to Sterling coming on... If i had just made a Debut that i , and everyone else around me, thought showed promise i would not fancy coming off the field to my manager saying that he would rather not play me again... wouldn't blame the lad for wanting to go back to London.

Sorry a bit of a mash up and no real structure to the article but thanks if you took the time to read it.

My theory on Dalglish is that he's a great motivator, man-manager and commands great respect. But that he's not actually that good at the tactical side of the game.

The over-riding theme in player interviews of our title winning side is that Dalglish's assistant at Rovers, Ray Harford, handled most of the training and tactics. Kenny's impact would be in the dressing room pre-match and they all said he had an aura about him.

So basically he can get players up for the big games and he can generally get the big players (like Suarez) to play for him. But if he doesn't have a tactically astute assistant to organise the systems his team plays then he struggles.

Would you guys be that disappointed though if he won the FA Cup as well? There's no practical difference in the league between 5th and 7th and I'm not sure you were ever gonna finish 4th.

From a Rovers point of view he certainly aint doing us any favours at the moment but at the end of the day with 28 points from 30 games we haven't done ourselves any all season. Despite the...erm..."genius" of Kean

Rover, you are more or less guaranteed a point the way we play at the moment.

Lucas, i also wanted him in the Derby but only for the obvious local lad reasons.

I don't think anyone would mind winning the cup, but i don't think it will save him... The owners said anything but top four would be a dissapointment

I think that's the long and short of it. Simply the game has moved on and it requires managers who are excellent tactically, that's why the big clubs always look abroad. Motivation skills are no longer enough.

Mourinho is touted as one of the best and whilst I don;t like him, I think he is. He is excellent tactically and even better at motivating his players.

I think you can have an assistant to do the motivation, i am pretty sure thats what happens in the Spurs dressing room, and Rafa used sammy lee a lot to give the speeches

I hope you washed your hands afterwards.

Dalglish has got a tactically aware coach in Steve Clark, who spent four years as assistant to Jose Mourinho at Chelsea. Clark had an immediate effect when he arrived just over a year ago, but this seems to have worn off.

He must be allowing us to gain a draw at your place!! Fingers crossed he is as accomodating when we play you at home as well.
