Considering Leeds are playing Watford (not a big club, not local and not one of the top teams in the division) and Blackpool and Reading are welcoming the biggest club in the division why such a difference?
So congratulations to both clubs for their sensible pricing structures
Why the huge contrast?

The thing is, the away crowds have been abysmal at Elland road.
Way down on last season and probably talking 300-400 000 lost revenue
Will the club ever learn

It's unbelievable, 30% difference in price.
At those prices we'd hit 27K attendance...therefore no money lost on current pricing and averaging 21K gates. The club would also make far more matchday money in the shop and on food.
Elland Road would become a wall of sound again and it would HELP the team get promoted.
Bates is a world class Doorknob, Getting Warnock temporarily blinded me again to the state him and his puppet Harvey have us in.

I must admit the pricing at ER, and general ticket pricing is wrong... paying the 7th highest ticket or whatever it is in the whole country is madness considering we are only top ten championship in terms of league position..
whilst I'd be described as pro Bates, the pricing is wrong I can't understand why he won't budge on this... at first I half agreed with it... when in L1 we got 27k etc, so if all those fans are paying a high price the club makes more... but in recent times we are hardly pushing 20k, and I think a good business man would 're-think' his strategy here.... still, I don't run a football club and he has more experience than I in running a football club so who am I say eh?

I've done 16 away games this season, 14 of them i have done on a student ticket, saving me loads.
And the club wonder why certain fans prefer to go away from home! Better atmosphere, cheaper tickets...
The club must lower the ticketing structure, it is ridiculous!

Yeah the lack of a student matchday ticket is another criticism of the club and doesn't help maintain the younger fans support.

Good point 1-0.
I know plenty who don't go to the home games anymore but rarely miss an away one.
The atmosphere like you say & the cheaper tickets make it a lot more enjoyable than spending an afternoon with Bates henchmen.
