In 2012, Man Utd have the best shots per goal rate in Europe's top 5 leagues, averaging a goal every 5.79 attempts at goal.
Imagine if Welbeck had converted some of the sitters he's missed
Great stat

Surely this means that there are many better teams than you but you are just more clinical. Just summarizing what your stats say.

Or, perhaps the fact that scoring goals is the hardest thing to do in football, we are the best due to the fact we have the best shots/ goal ratio?
Being clinical is hugely important in football, perhaps this is where Arsene has been giong wrong for, what is it now? 7 years?

Well, as i have often said stats are like bikinis in they dont reveal much, but suggest something interesting.
Whilst it is safe to assume so, i recall Mikel having a 97% passing rate in a Chelsea shirt for two years (and i dont particularly rate him) and Yakubu has the best shots-to-goals ratio in the PL, yet he is a lazy, immobile, opportunistic attacker.
I love our silver boy Welbeck, but God, he needs to improve in front of goal rapidly.

If you score more goals it looks good but we waste more chances then any team I know. Against wolves missed over 5 sitters, west brom could haver had 6 or 7 by simple finishing.
Man utd probably had the worst shots t goal in cl.

Do you have the stats for Liverpool? I hear them banging on about creating so much, would be interesting to see how many goals they score per chances.

Carroll has 40 shots per game he makes the chances himself !! Awesome player
