I saw in a paper today where they compared Chelsea and 5pud2 remaining fixtures. Both of them have a relatively easy run in with the only really hard game being for Chelsea away to us, but they do have to go to Liverpool as well. Next is probbaly the 5pud2 away to Sunderland (I hope Bendtner can do us a favour there).
We have to play Man City and Chelsea at home a tricky fixture in Stoke away , but fortunately on a spring afternoon rather than a wet and windy night in February. 3rd place is far from guaranteed and with their far easier run in the 5pud2 should get more points than us. It will make it all the sweeter when we get 3rd and Defoe has to match Wilsheres £3000 bet (although thats only a couple 0of hours wages for them)

Fixtures for the run in

8 point gap with Chelsea is crucial when you consider that we have 2/3 tough games coming up. Every game is difficult but some games are less straightforward than others and stoke away is certainly one of them.

Run-ins are nothing but a fixture list.
There are no easy games in the Premier League these days and anyone could beat anyone on their day.
You also have to remember the randomness of referee decisions this season.
When you take into account momentum, the confidence in each squad, injuries, congested or uncongested fixture schedules, positivity of the fans at matches... these all have significant influences on the outcome of games.
Personally, I'm quietly confident.

I would back us to win any game at home at the moment.

We're not playing any of the sides fighting for survival

Suppose they aren't really fighting.

Wolves, Wigan, QPR ...any others ???
I also see that we've got three easy games against Coldplay at the beginning of June.
Will they be playing in Yellow?
