Good morning cricket lovers,
I hope you all had a fantastic weekend & if you feel anything like i do this morning then you definitely did!!
This is a MASSIVE game for England & if they fail to secure victory then they will be dethroned as crickets No.1 test side.
Team News:
Chanaka Welegedara is ruled out for SL with a groin injury & will be replaced with JT's favorite allrounder Angelo Mathews.
Stuart Broad has flown home with a calf strain leaving Bresnan & Finn fighting out for a place in the final XI with Finn looking the most likely to be Broads replacement.
Can England bury their spin demons & come out at the top ranked team or will they melt in the sun of Colombo?
The first test was a fantastic match, full of twist & turns & i'm looking forward to another cracker to end this short series in style.
COME ON ENGLAND!

Herath and Rehman are decent bowlers that are probably full of confidence and have just had their golden moments in cricket. But I can't see them being a threat for the years to come.

Nice little stat from Cricinfo.
Tim Bresnan took only two wickets in the match and scored five runs, but his mere presence, it seems, works wonders for England: this is his 11th Test, and England have won every one of them. The only other player who played ten or more Tests and didn't lose any is Eldine Baptiste: West Indies won each of the ten Tests he played. The overall record for most Tests won at a stretch since debut belongs to Adam Gilchrist - Australia won the first 15 Tests he played
Baptiste's steak lasted 10 matches and 7 years (Damn that 1990 test)
Gilchrist's streak lasted for 15 matches in under 2 years.
Brezzers needs to win the next 5 tests he plays or keep winning until 2017 to break these records.

Also, just to add, it was nice to experience a live match thread.

Tom Maynard needs to replace Bell in the subcontinent.
134 runs in 5 tests at under 15 average is just not good enough at this level.
