Gooner in peace. I must say this season has been the first season I have really been on the City board obviously because of the progress you have made in the league. I have generally been impressed by how modest and grounded most fans have been even when the team was flying at the beginning of the season.
Fellas like grated, X, leopold, paul powersleftfoot, ripleyscat, boltonblue, kamokino have been genuine in admitting the progress your team has made under Mancini irrespective of the money spent.
But for my life I just don’t understand why you have given up on your team! City still have a mathematical chance against a united side which although I feel is better than last seasons rabble but not as good as teams in the past. Only X seems to have stuck his finger up and decided to back the team till its mathematically impossible.
Some so called fans like Boris/Doris have decided the best way to deal with the recent slump is to take it out on a 21 year old like Balotelli.Do you know how many teams would give an arm and a leg to sign the maverick Italian. Boris has come short of suggesting Dzeko is better than Mario! Dzeko would be the leagues laughing stock if it wasn’t for Andy Carrol. Mario can at least do the basics, trap the ball first time and shoot on target. Dzeko has one of the worst 1st touches I’ve seen and always shoots the ball over the bar. He reminds me of Bendtner.
Its easy to blame Mario because but how many times has Sergio missed before he scores.I love Sergio, his attitude is one of the best I have seen in the modern game and Mario can learn a lot from him, but to suggest he is clinical is a joke.how many away goals does he have? How many times has he scored the 1st goal in a game.honestly ask your self the goal, Mario scored in the first half at Old Trafford had the chance fallen to Sergio would it have resulted in a goal or would he have skied it over thje bar?
Mario is ridiculously lazy I must admit but he is certainly one of the rawest and most talented players I have seen since on these shores since henry jogged on the pitch against Southampton all those years ago. There have been worse thugs than Mario who have turned out to be brilliant players. A certain Roy Keane comes to mind. Some may say cantona but Ive never really rated the Frenchman.
The reason why City are in its current funk is because of your creative midfielders, too much has been going through David Silva this season such that once he got into his slump nobody has taken responsibility. You have no urgency and only react once the opposition has scored.
I remember when City fans were having a go at Yaya but he is the one player who seems to be trying to carry City over the line. I admit watching Yaya not track back as Sunderland launched its counter to score the winning goal at the Stadium of light was sickening but all players have weaknesses. Yaya is tactically naïve and anyone who knows football will understand why Mancini doesn’t like to play him in the holding role.
I’ve been impressed by a number of grounded united fans, carrikature,Arab,Red66,Captain Positivity, fans who are honest enough to judge on the evidence before their eyes and not take anything for granted. United also has wums on this board like Ole and Park. Some would consider Hafijur a wum but I think of him as an eternal optimist. Park and Ole are just wums, plain and simple! They talk nonsense and no f-all about football. United may very well win the league this season but they have been shocking in Europe and I doubt Ferguson will take any joy in reliving this season.
City may win nothing but they have been very unlucky in my opinion. Other than the FA cup they may well have with better luck clinched Europa league, PL and the league Cup.
The team will learn from this. Better teams like the Arsenal team became better from such experiences.City fans must just back their team.United still have games against relegation threatened teams, anything can happen in such games.
Keep the faith, still too many games to give up now. Great teams are created by how they support each other, now is not the time to fall apart.
Admin can you multiboard this.Thanks!

You are aware we had just qualified for the CL and thus would have been fine from a money perspective?
