Do you think he'll get a New contract? I'd be devastated if he went for the supposed £7 mil. I think we should slap on a £25-30 mil release clause and improve his contract pretty drastically. What is he on now? £40,000? In that case I think he should get what he wants as long as its on the right side of 70,000.

He's on like £30k with appearence bonus of like £20k or something like that. I'd be gutted if he went too and hope he gets a new deal he deserves. Thing is we'd never know if they are in talks or not - just see the Jonas, Krul, Colo and Raylor contracts. Completely out of the blue!

I think that if we are to keep him, he'd need to be getting around 50k + 15/20k appearance fee. But it all depends on what PSG, Chelsea etc can offer him.. Which is probably more than 100k a week. If he went for more than 20mil then I don't think I'd be too upset.
