Mass Effect 3

If you enjoyed ME2 you will love ME3. Without spoiling anything, you may find the ending to be rather anti-climatic. But there has been outrage from fans due to lack of closure, on what is supposed to be the last of The Sheperd trilogy. In response, Bioware is releasing free ending DLC some time soon.

Either way it's a fantastic game which i consider a must-buy in my humble opinion.

JDT, I've heard alot of negatives surrounding the ending. Without spoiling anything, can you indicateif the ending of the whole trilogy is significantly different based on the choices you made?

Bit of a bummer if you're handed a generic ending

I dont know how to put this without adding a spoiler or two but I will give it a go:

The game has different options of endings but they all end up with the same main result (basically like making you choose one of three flavoured cakes that all taste the same*)

Great game and well worth playing but the ending really was a letdown and in my opinion left a few things open (Wont spoil it) which was suprising since this has been touted as the last chapter of the series.

* = A group that were a tad miffed with ME3's choice of endings have actually raised money and sent 402 cupcakes to BioWare that were coloured to correspond with the endings yet were all vanilla flavoured
