Well I told you so, most didn't need telling, some still do not listen.
Prior to a takeover I urged people to be careful what they wished for, Rovers were never a footballing investment. They, should that be we, we're a club to be bought out of love or money.
£23m a bargain, three quarters of an Andy Carroll.
So, they sold our prized asset, all the players on a high wage. Now we are relegated they can sell the rest, Robbo, Hoilett, N'Fonzi, etc.
The evil Venkys will have more than covered the purchase of the Club, their expenditure will be no more than income, and those parachute payments will be straight of the Pune.
3 more years of Venkys and Kean then administration or sale for a £1
Maybe I'm wrong, but to date I've been right on the money, an I ain't even that kleverer...
What now...?

Indeed, we've only won at your place 3 times in 15 years. It's a shame to see a club local to United go down, the North West clubs aren't having their share of luck in the league this season. Bolton may even be going down too, but I understand your hatred for the Venky's. We've got leaches for owners too, so there's something in common there. Although I hope you don't become like Charlton! Like I said, I hope the future changes for you

Cheers again Arab. I'll pray we can make 3 times in 16 years, as hopeless as that may seem right now

I honestly think that even I am better than Kean. I played the new football manager 2012 and had the same season of struggle but I kept us up, we stayed up with a point on the last day Bolton went down instead of us! I pray this is an omen but that is clutching at straws if I ever heard it! Obv this isnt the same as being a real premier league manager but my tactics were much better than Kean's pathetic formations. I got 15 goals out of Goodwillie in the first season! I took over Man City and gave us a cool 50 million of the Arab money (pocket change) just to see how we would get on. In the 2nd season I am now up to 10th and currently 1 nil up at half time against Chelsea pushing for 9th place. I just lost to City in the final of league cup. It's 6th April 2014 we have come on leaps and bounds in my dream world!!! With our steady decline this has been my only solace it will be all I have left as in the states they barely show any championship games. I will be reduced to watching a handful or less of games a season and my life will be much more depressing!
Just a thought on my signings since now all we can do is dream of them -
Gylfi Sigurdsson - £7m Hoffenheim (typical he scores an amazing goal against us today!)
Darren Bent - £6.5m
Alan Hutton - £6.5m (Villa went down)
Seb Larsson - £8m
Demba Ba - £10.5m
Thomas Vermaelen £4.6m
If only!

Skin, there's no other explanation for their behaviour. Naivety doesn't generally run multi million pound businesses.
All the signs are that cost cutting is occurring across the business. The sale price was ridiculously low when you consider players assets plus parachute payments.
Seriously, it's free column inches and about £30m profit in 5 years. Not many businesses achieve that...

Charlton were promoted today so fortunes do change.

Nah i don't think so ,i think they have been fooled into buying Rovers by J Anderson followed J Anderson's instructions and have been left holding the Baby and are to stupid to admit they have been stupid and done everything wrong
posted on 14/4/12
But they've not been stupid. They effectively paid £23m for a club with one asset worth £18m alone. Relegation earns £48m, not a bad safety net...

They were in a Win Win situation whatever happened to Rover's and I think they knew that. I think they came with good intentions and then realised what they had actually got themselves into. Now for them whether we are in the Premiership or get relegated they don't care, they will get money regardless, pocket it and then sell us when they feel there is nothing left to be made.
Sad state of affairs and just wish someone would investigate what was actually going on behind closed doors.

You need 2 wins and a draw to stay. Win against Spurs and Chelsea and draw one of the other two. All will be forgiven. <wink>
