Fine win.
Missed the first ten laps but as a neutral I loved that. Loads of great racing through the field. The train built up behind Raikkonen was brilliant.
Quick question, how did Mercedes get the constructors trophy? Mercedes got 25 points, McLaren 33. Or does it just go to the team of the winning driver these days?
Congrats Nico

It goes to the team of the winning driver.
And I agree, it was an absolutely amazing race, and Fishery fully deserved the win. I was hoping Button would chase him down but it wasn't meant to be, and to be honest, I'm glad it wasn't.

Fishery is meant to be Rosberg.
I need to stop using my phone on this website.

How the hell do you get Fishery from Rosberg?

Probably the auto-correction on my phone's keyboard trying to be clever.

nice one nico, been a long time coming.
truely great race with the 2 stoppers really affecting the quicker 3 stop guys and really it was intriguing to see how it was going to pan out.
some great overtaking and bold moves by most of the drivers.

I see tshe is unusually quiet after the mess up with JB's pitstop. Maybe the crew thought they were dealing with LH.

Wilsbowski, I don't ever remember them adding the points of both drivers to determine who got the manufacturer's race trophy. But then I have to be honest and admit not remembering there being a constructors race trophy back in the 70's.

I have to say that was one of the best races ive seen in a while, how fitting it was back on bbc. Great coverage like today demontrates exactly why F1 should not have moved to sky

Roseberg got his Mercedes crew to not put Schumachers weel nut on properly.

I had my doubts about whether Mercedes could actually hold it together during the race but fair play they got it right today and Rosberg got a well deserved (and he might feel long overdue) victory. The track certainly seemed to suit his driving.
The only downside for Mercedes was the Schumacher bungle, otherwise who knows what they could have got out of the race?
