Arsenal - The Selling Club

Have Arsenal become just another selling club? They have been trophyless since the mid-Naughties and have kept selling their better players.

With the likes of Fabregas, Nasri and Clichy heading for the exit door at the Emirates can Arsenal still be taken seriously as a leading club or are they in decline?

Since their last trophy they have seen Ashley Cole, Reyes, Henry, Hleb, Adebayor, Toure and Clichy all leave with Fabregas and Nasri on their way.

How can they possibly continue to challenge for major trophies while selling their best players?

In a time where Man United, Chelsea, Man City and even Liverpool are spending big are Arsenal going to get left behind? Have Arsenal become the 'new Tottenham'?

Hmmm despite all this widespread selling Arsenal have constantly been in the top four since the mid - noughties, been in a champions league final several champions league semi finals, a uefa cup final, two carling cup finals

Yes, granted we havent won any of those finals but it does show arsenal are still competitive

Although with the likes of man city starting to become a force it will be difficult to compete if we keep selling top players and not replacing thiem
