The Next Ronaldo Vs Messi

In 5 years or so when that main rivalry fades and declines. What 2 players do you think will step up?

I'm hoping when Neymar comes to Europe he delivers and fulfils his potential just for the good of football, besides it's so much better when a Brazillian rules the world.

If he was to be up there who would rival him?

Erik Lamela - Heard great things about him very gifted left footed player skilful with a nice finesse shot. He can play as a forward and on both flanks. Currently at Roma http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8HsBInTYiw

Juan Iturbe - Another left footed Argentine who's been dubbed 'The New Messi' Plays wide right always a threat when coming inside. Quite a stocky lil fella but very quick and skilful. Currently at Porto http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msxHFcJSXA8

Thiago - Amazing talent, very creative player who will only flourish at Barca. A great pass and skill and can do the lot really

Cristian Eriksen - A good shot and great pace. Best behind the forward has good skills too but we all know he needs to move on from Ajax very soon.

Xherdan Shaqiri - Obviously United you lot will be familiar with this talent (not a dig). Very good player again left footed from Switzerland, has a great shot on him and incredible dribbler. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PfqBfd48uHY

Oxlade-Chamberlain - Not at all being biased here but I do believe in his potential very good prospect. While I think Messi was always going to be naturally gifted Ronaldo's rise to the top took hard work and brushing up which can't be denied this is how I think if Ox knuckles down and continues to develop at Arsenal he could be up there at some point. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sUV6gtio6VY

Wilfred Zaha - Yes, yes I am throwing up another England man in the mix but he has the trickery and pace that will attract admirers which Englishmen have lacked. For our most skilful player over the last decade or so to be Joe Cole says an awful lot, Zaha will be on the verge of signing for a big(ger) club soon and will show his talent I'm sure

Mario Gotze - Superb player, very complete as a playmaker and very quick too has a great pass and should turn up at the Euro's

Eden Hazard - We've all heard about him haven't we. Your typical exciting young winger! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZjPudVLhWeM

Lucas - For those that don't know he is becoming the new buzz in Brazil 'the new Ronaldihno'

Ganso - Good player, very creative left footed.

Nani - Well after a great end to the last season I really expected this to be his year, I'm not sure if he's been injured or just fell out of favour behind Young & Valencia but he has disappointed me this year, when he appears he does score or assist so the talent is clear but can he follow in Ronaldo's footsteps?

Ozil - Well the lads only about 22, so he will be about for some time. Absolute class act right now, has been key to Ronaldo's goals this season. So creative and clever great player.

Cesc Fabregas - Well he is Messi's age so it's hard to judge but then considering his best attributes you feel he can be like Xavi and still dictate games at 30+ we all know how good he is.

Alexis Sanchez - Hate the lad but is a very good player.

Bezema - Reminds me of Rooney when attacking, he's doing well this year.

Anymore ?

"Gervinho is a perfect example of a one footed player"

I said great.

The article is about who will be the Messis and Ronaldos of 2017. Gervinho has never got near a Ballon D'or.

Both Ronaldos, Pele, Zidane, Best... all two footed.

Dubbed, you're easily the thickest poster on the Arsenal board. And that's coming from me.

If you're 1 footed player and shown onto your weak foot then bend an outside of the boot pass to your target = sorted

Gervinho is utter class.

The way he dribbles is nothing short of phenomenal.

He is the type of player that gets all standing up in anticipation, down at the Emirates.

Honestly, he will be up there soon. He is certainly one of the most talented players around.

I hate Sanchez for his diving, antics and just his appearance to be honest he makes me cringe. I'm sure everyone has a particular player that they just don't like...

Sanchez does look a bit camp. Top player though.

A few years ago I would have added Lukaku to this list also Kakuta!!

Lukaku is just utter shiite.

Kakuta is skillful. But he's a clown. A light weight.
