Now after the news of adam clayton not being wanted at leeds the reason why is thought by many is down to money either he wants too much (where have we heard that before) or the club want the money for 1 of the few players we have that actually have a sale value
but I actually think its both plus the fact that clayton wont actually be needed next season (not that I think that) as we'll play nothing but hoof ball and we need to strong centre mids who can just lump it forward and put in a few tackles, we'll play 4-2-3-1 next season with long balls to becchio the order of the day
very disappointed
unless we dont need him cause were going to get butterfield from barnsley (I like a good joke, obviously why I bought ST for next year)

We plaued hoof ball when we had killa, howson, jonson and gradel.
If hoofball is how Warnock achieved 7 promotions from this league then so be it

You might need to change your name to, you got sucked back in to Bates' wallet with the Clayton money

Moth - spot on. I've watched Clayton watching the ball soaring back and forth above his head in a few matches, and thought how dispiriting that must be.
Mike - so Warnock works a miracle and wins us a hoofball propmotions and then leaves, as he has said. How do we convert the donkeys into a team which can play in the prem, or do we ship 'em all out and start again ?
How about developing a long term plan, a playing system and a youth policy which feeds it, rather than a series of knee jerk reactions.

Hoofball here we come. Don't forget we've offered a new contract to Michael Brown, and Danny Pugh is being kept. Definitely lining up to hoof his way to the Premier League. Snodgrass won't be around either so we'll be cutting out the middle even more.

Were you watching on Saturday? Crap performance but far more rolling ball out from Lonergan than usual. We will not play hoof ball with Warnock's new team.

which means selling Clayton makes even less sense.
