I remember getting in the queue for tickets on the Sunday night about 6pm, me and a mate took sleeping bags and deck chairs and camped out by the petrol station in Whitehorse Road.

I think we got our tickets about 11am on the Monday morning.

As we walked away I remember saying "Never again" but on the Sunday after the cup final we were back queuing again for the replay.

One thing I do remember is how easy it was getting tickets for the semi finals. I just rocked up to Selhurst on a Sunday morning and bought two tickets from one of the ticket windows on Holmesdale road. No queues just walked up and said "two tickets for the semi please"

Can you imagine that happening today.
