Listening to Matt Holland on the radio just now and he actually said
"after today, i would take Andy Carroll to the Euros"
Never mind the diabolical season he's had, he's played well for half an hour against Chelsea so he deserves to go to the Euros, what is wrong with some people!?
Also, what is wrong with the media? the commentator on ESPN today was banging on about goal line technology and how the official need help and the back page of the papers are on about "the phantom goal", we all know we need goal line technology and that the media will over blow the Carroll header but the replay show that the ball clearly didn't cross the line, you could tell that from the first replay they showed and to bang on about "did it or didn't it cross the line" isn't fair on Petr Cech and is very disrespectful to the officials who called it right.
The utter nonsense that some people in the media get paid to come out with infuriates me at times!
Carroll should go to the Euros

Exactly, you got it in one, your bias means you are unable yo give credit to a young player who has been ridiculed for over a year now, firstly because he became a 'dirty' Liverpool player, secondly due to his pricetag which had nothing to do with him.
..........................................
Oh dear, you're so far off the mark with this one mate, you talk about club bias when, for me, it has nothing to do with who i want to play for england, i want the best players to play for my country, hence my inclusion of Gerrard who is the modern day symbol Liverpool FC but you appear to have ignored that one. If you think Andy Carroll has been one of the besr 4-5 english strikers of this season then god help you.

So you want Gerrard, who is in the worst form of his career to go but not Carroll who is in good form. England should be happy you're not picking the players. Take Grant Holt over Carroll to the Euro's

Gerrards been injured and is feeling his way back whilst trying to drag the worst liverpool team in 40 years through a terrible season, he's also done the business for england in the past, blows your united liverpool bias theory outta the water well doesn't it, you only want Carroll over Holt because he plays for your club, wouldn't be suprised if you wanted Downing in there as well, he's had 5 good games this season to.

Many Liverpool players have suffered this season due to Kenny's terrible tactics which don't suit the players.
When a new manager is installed for next season, you'll see them perform to a much higher standard, I'm sure of it.
Gerrard I agree, has been good for england, although not as good as he could have been, perhaps again, due to him being used in a role, which doesn't suit him best. Being a much better all round player than a lot of others, he is able to adapt, something which a 23 year old andy Carroll has been struggling to do, since he arrived at Liverpool. He's now started to show that and whilst getting into form and scoring a few goals, he is still slated.
To buy Downing and play the Suarez lone striker no goals formation was an absolutely ridiculous decision. Downing, Henderson, Johnson and Enrique have all suffered due to the fact Suarez isn't an out and out striker and when they get down the line, there is nobody in the box, as Suarez likes to drift and thus they are crossing into an empty box, or turning and pass backwards which invites pressure on us and our oppenents grow into the game, whilst our players become nervous. This has resulted in it seeming like we have deserved to win most of the games we've played this season but drew or lost anyhow. You and I both know, you don't deserve to win if your tactics aren't good enough and you don't have players in the box scoring goals.
Trust me, next season, if we change manager, which I am praying about everyday, we'll be in a much better position. This is not to say we'll finish top four as we still have a bit to go, before we can think of that but we'll certainly make progress instead of our worst sign of regression since 1953.
Take it from me, somebody who watches Liverpool and both Carroll and Downing every week. It's not bias, it's knowledge.

Hmm. I'm pretty sure I saw you a few days ago arguing with United fans about Rio being past it. Only that time you claimed it didnt matter that they watched him week in week out, they were letting bias cloud their judgement. No?

Bloodred. That was me and another United posted. Might have been Sweet Little Pea, cannot remember.
TOOR is the most biased Liverpool fan on these boards, and anyone that disagrees with his biased views on Liverpool, are biased against Liverpool and it clouds their judgment. You couldn't make it up.

Another great performance from Carroll last night. An assist and MOTM performance, to add to his last few months.
Keep watching him, he's back. Bias was I?
