Channel 5 Cup

Thursday nights channel 5, thursday night channel 5, with the season drawing to a dramatic close yesterday how do you feel your side did over the whole campaign and without European football for the first time in well a decade or more how does this make you feel?

Can Liverpool challenge for a top 5 spot next season with their 'rivals' Fulham and Spurs in Europe? or is it too much to ask? Do Liverpool have to sqaud viable to challenge on more than one front this season?

Dissapointing in Europe and domestically this season liverpool sort of rescued a dismal start with a decent second half to the season but even then could not peg back those above them who had more commitments than the flagging reds.

is the squad capable of more than just 38 league games? can Liverpool challenege for the Carling Cup next season? who knows what do you think.

Didi? You Drogba he did.

Yes he did. Didier Drogba was nowhere near Stamford Bridge yesterday, confirming that Chelsea's most dangerous player will undoubtedly be leaving in the summer.

Meanwhile Roman continues to rip out the clubs souls by sacking yet another manager, who last season managed the plastic flag wavers to their most successful season ever.

his season has been a successful one.

First and foremost the club has ridden itself of the cancer of debt and booted Waldorf and Statler out. This was the defining moment of the clubs season. Another positive was replacing a manager who's short reign was a disastrous one and replacing him with a man who lives and breathes the ethos of the club and who has worked wonders with a squad badly needing investment which it never received under the two leeches.

Liverpool finshed 6th after their worst start since 1954.

Things are looker brighter than they have done for a while for Liverpool. Now we have to hope that the the club can bring in some quality in the summer and we can improve further next season

The idiots were forecasting our complete demise.

*Liverpool are going into administration.
*Liverpool will be relegated.
*Liverpool won't finish in the top half.
*Liverpool are a two man team
*Liverpool have sold their best player and will suffer.

All believed by by the plethora of wums and idiots obsessed with this great club.

I distinctly remember you cabbage employing your junior accountant skills spouting on endlessly that we would be in administration and would be relegated.

For once in your life you should be concerned with what Kenwright is doing to you bitters and the fact that Gollum will soon be walking away.

Yes of course, my mistake.

However the fact remains that by not being there he will probably be off.

He will be a massive loss for them and with Roman having another massive kneejerk, the future for the chavs looks uncertain. What manager worth their salt would be prepared to undertake the massive rebuilding process which is required and know that if Chelsea fail to win a major honour, they will be out on their arsenal?

Yeah Drogba who is 33 years old will be a massive loss but he was bound to leave sooner or later. They have another lad to take his place...Torres I think is his name. But you scousers reckon he is finished right? Not that you would be saying that if he still played for you. It would be 'imagine how well we do next season when Torres gets a rest in pre season' 'Next year will defo be our year lad'

Torres isn't finished and you know it.

can we stop all this "Channel 5 Cup" nonsense... it's also on ITV4

So it should be "The Channel 5 & ITV4 Cup"

It is also played on some Wednesday nights too so it should be the "Wednesday & Thursday channel 5 & ITV4 Cup".

Lettuce I will probably look like my bitter twisted blue neighbour on a Thursday night. Angry and upset!!

I don't know what it is but teams that play in blue have fans that never look happy. Rangers fans always look angry, so do Everton fans and worst of all my mate whoi became a Chelsea fan a few years ago was so upset and angry looking when Chelsea got knocked out of Europe. He couldn't understand how team that has spent near on £900m couldn't win the big cup.
