Loan or sale??

Of the older ones in the youth team who will make a loan to a top flight team next season and who won't. Tunnicliffe, Petrucci, Norwood, Matt James, Wootton.

Tunnicliffe, Petrucci, Norwood, Will Keane, Fryers will be loaned to a Championship side.

Don't know much about James's development as he has been injured for a long time.

Tunnicliffe and Norwood did the championship last year, they will be 21 this year surely its a pl loan or on the fast boat out?

Tunnicliffe is still 19 i think (or maybe just turned 20) and didn't set the Championship alight so would be difficult to get him a PL loan move where he gets game time.

Same goes for Norwood, i think his team got relegated from the Championship.

On further note if any youngster impresses on pre-season then it is a possibility.

Hmmm, fair one. It just got me thinking, we were checking appearances at Pogba and he was younger... there is talent in that reserve team but such is the step up it is so hard to tell how that transition will go.

True.

Eikrem was outstanding in the reserves and was captain too. Whose to say the likes of Petrucci are any better than him.

All we can hope for is that the players have the right attitude and hunger to play for the club, and also are lucky with regards to their loan moves (i haven't seem someone with worse luck than that of Macheda with regards to a loan move).

Tunnicliffe is 19, I think a Championship loan would do him good. Maybe get some League Cup appearances and go out on loan in January?

Norwood spent half of last season in League One, and impressed. He then went to a low Championship side and impressed again. A PL step up might be too quick for him.

Agreed, I got his age wrong Tunnicliffe for Championship again is fair. I stand by Norwood going to a PL side though.

If Norwood goes on loan to a PL side next season, credit to him. He played really well in the Championship in the second half of this season.

If one comes in for him on a loan, I would accept. But I think going up two divisions in the space of a year might be too fast, so I would assume a loan to the Championship would be most likely.
