Huddersfield Town v Milton Keynes Dons

Npower League 1

Play offs 2nd Leg

Venue . Galpharm Stadium

Date . Tuesday 15th May 2012

Kick off 1945hrs

Town head into the second leg of this semi final after a fine 2-0 victory in the first leg.

If you listen to Karl Robinson he believes that he has a ‘different feeling about this one ‘, Stating that M K have never gone into a second leg behind hhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmm, yet they still have never made a final!
So how can the ‘ feeling ‘ he has be any better as they are 2-0 down.

Town played very well & looked up for it, & each player seemed to know what job they had to do, Grayson is very impressive in his manner & demeanour regarding this Play Off campaign, not saying too much, letting the ‘youngster ‘ Robinson .make a fool of himself.

An early goal to us will settle us down, M K will have to come at us, & yes, they are a good footballing team, but they will leave gaps for us to exploit.

An early goal to them and its game on !!

Our boys ( so far ) have done us proud.

Can we create some play off history……………. And win a home play off game !

Can we attend a game of great significance…………….. and not get nervous ! ? …. Time will tell !

Can we create a fantasic atmosphere like we did in the away leg , & like against Bournemouth ????????? Fans its over to US !! UTTPOW2012!

Don’t know how the injuries are yet, will it be the same team, ?

18,000 + to see us reach the final ………. And reach the promised land.

Can Boots & 38 EVER get on ?

The fans can play a real part, I doubt many will come from M K.

On a final note, if we do go up, can you imagine the banter here, on JA 606 in the Championship .

Or8 Hydy,
car for us mate. The coach to the Den was dire....
I thought we were going to a funeral, nobody spoke ?
that was on the way darn ...

We are going very early, & will be in the Ace cafe on the north circular before the game for a 'traditional' dinner, with Pudding & custard ... ..

A1 too ! bit further, but I'm sure it will be 'quieter'

We got seats in Block 135, terrierific very close to where I 'stood' for the England v Croatia qualifier...
Just hope the Town fans replicate the atmosphere generated at the 'Pharm the other night

Surely. Everyone will want to stand after sitting on their bottoms all the way darn there from 'Udders.....won't they ?

Train from Man Pic to Euston....£35 return

I love it when you buy 2 tickets for £44 and the total cost is £96

hydy..
all i found was that its £17.50 for blue badge parking, so its fair to say ordinary parking will be significantly more..
buy a £50 car from brighouse car auctions and just dump it at wembley, might be cheaper in the long run???

Boots…

My grandson wasn’t able to get to the Play-off semi-final 2nd leg, third elbow, on Tuesday night, but I promised him I would take him to Wembley if Town managed to sneak a win. So… all being well, I shall be there with bells on. If it’s cold I shall wear something warmer.

I first visited the old Wembley Stadium in 1958, when mum and dad took my brother and me to watch the greyhound racing, during a holiday in London. There were no stadium tours in those days, but we did go to the dogs.

We were in the smoke at the same time as the Soho Festival, with decorated floats, riding on which were the likes of Laurie London who I am sure you will be aware, at the age of 13, had a big hit with an up-tempo version of the spiritual song "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands", with the Geoff Love Orchestra. Geoff Love was born in Todmorden.

Laurie London also recorded such doozie ditties as "Bum-Ladda-Bum-Bum”, “Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Honolulu Strand Bikini", and "Mandolino Pling Plang Plong".

We also bumped into… not literally of course… the pneumatic Norma Sykes, otherwise known as Sabrina. Here she is with Big-hearted…

I don’t like this booking online or by phone business. Half the fun of getting to Wembley should be queuing for tickets. All fans together, the common purpose, the camaraderie, the banter, the frostbite… sharing bars of Kendal mint cake, and the odd tot of Glenhoddle Triple Malt. They don’t write nostalgia like that anymore!
