It hurts seeing the mighty Reds finish the season so poorly but it won't be anywhere near as painful as what the Man U fans felt seconds after they heard their final whistle.

What drama! It just sums up the season really. That has got to be the best way to win a league title, making your rivals think they've got it in the bag and then SLAP, cruelly snatch it away in Fergie Time.

Thankyou Man City for saving yourselves from the biggest choking in English football and saving the rest of us from endless gloating from The Hairdryer.

Hopefully Liverpool will bounce back and come looking for you next season but for now enjoy your parade, you've waited long enough
