How could that be, spend more and get less for the money spent.

"Try to understand as far as the league goes you are a midtable club like us,but the season just gone you are just that little bit more of a midtable club"
I know we are, doesn't mean we should be happy with it though. Tobes and his little mates are doing a virtual jig about finishing 1 place above us. Something that's only happened 3 times since the PL started. It's as rare as Everton winning a trophy.
Like I said we demand improvement. Your fellow Everton fans on here are busy buying the 'We finished above Liverpool commemorative DVD' on Amazon.

Hardly, it's just stating a fact, a fact that you can't stomach.
We're not celebrating anything, just enjoying watching some of you lot attempt to deflect from the reality by any means possible.

Everton FC, like the weedy kid that hangs round with the school bully, to avoid a battering.

If you're using that sort of analogy, then I think it'd be more likely aimed at you lot, & you'd be hiding ebhind the skirts of the dinner lady.....

Ok then, meanwhile in the real world I'm comfortable with the fact that Everton finished above us. Well done by the way. When is it going down on your honours list?
This season, for us, has been dire on the whole. But even in our worst finish for ages we have something to show for it. We did something Everton haven't done for 17 years . So whilst things aren't as good as they should be there's the slightest silver lining.
Just stating some facts

It's your worst finish since last season, when you were also nowhere in terms of challenging the top sides in the league. You're an average midtable side these days - facht

Yet you've been that for how many years now?
I never said we weren't a mid-table side now-a-days. I said that's where we are at the moment and we want improvement. Remember that, improvement? Na thought not .

Don't we all, but it's easy to 'want', it requires someone to deliver..........
Your owners wanted more & delivered £100M+ for players, & what improvement did that yield?
I think you'll find that your "bread & butter" saw further decline.
The improvement that you crave, will only be delivered with another shed load of cash & even then there's no guarantees, you seem to be expecting this to be delivered.............I suspect that you may be disappointed.
As for us, well that's where we've been for years - Moyes hit the 'glass ceiling' at Goodison about 7 years ago.
Cash is king these days & we haven't got enough of it, hence the lack of further progress.
You may find yourselves in a similar place shortly.

But we do very well with what little cash we do have Tobe

As much as I'd liked to have won the FA Cup/League Cup, I'd much rather be secure in our PL status and then pushing for the top 4 spots. With our current levels of investment that is a fair way of at the moment though.
Yes LFC won the CC, but Portsmouth and Birmingham won the cups recently, and look at them now.
Anyone can win a cup, LFC only scraped past Cardiff on pens.
