Sky Sports are reporting that saints are very close to signing England U21's midfielder Jack Cork from Chelsea for a fee of £750,000. It is understood that personal terms have been agreed and he could be a Saints players at the earliest this evening.
They are also reporting that Jason Puncheons agent has said he would be interested in a move to Pompey if a concrete offer was made for the winger. Good way for the saints fans to hate him even more! It wouldnt surprise me if he went to Leicester as they look to be buying a whole new team!
Very pleased about Cork though, just the player we need which may keep Chamberlain with us for at least another season.

haha! The only damage will be to you're clubs reputation after each mauling. We had an under strength team last time, this season you will see the best team in hampshire!

Some not very legitimet ones as well, hey Alan.
But regardless, although Punch's agent is obviously tying to annoy us, theres a cats chance in hell that Pompey would pay us (up front, snigger) what we are asking for Jason.
