What an insult to Lennon...

Lennon has been treated horribly by England. He hasn't received one call-up since the 2010 World Cup. In that time we've had Walcott, Milner and Downing getting call ups, all when they were in hopeless form for their clubs.

Richards is another one I feel sorry for. Capello wouldn't play him and now Hodgson won't play him, and yet he's been far better than Johnson.

In short, all in-form players have been shunned. All big name, off-form players, straight in.

And just for good measure, we'll chuck in an Oxo cube who is neither on form, or experienced.

The current players like Gerrard, Lampard, Terry etc. are all FA's favourites so the only time they will finally disappear is when they retire, and as we all know Roy is a yes man to the FA - hense why its the same shat squad that has let us down for the last half a dozen tournaments

Lennon is easily England's best winger. He's the only one capable of actually beating a man.

It's stange that Micah Richards and Adam Johnson are good enough for the title winners and Lennon is first choice winger for one of the top 4 teams in the country but they aren't deemed good enough for a second rate England team.

Poor squad. Midfield was always going to be weaker without players like Wilshere. Shame Huddlestone couldn't have put a season together.

I find it astonishing that Ox can get in the squad hardly ever playing. What about our own Jake Livermore, whom has had some very fine 90 minute games.

Gerrard has been picked on reputation alone, his recent form doesnt merit a call up.

Also, it just goes to show that playing for certain clubs DOES get you in the international frame. Shawcross has had a far better season than Phil Jones at CB, but Jones gets the nod. Maybe its because he can cover at RB, i dont know, but Shawcross is just the tough-like defender we could do with (as long as he stops the shirt pulling at corners).
