Then if you've got a kid you could save £18 on his kit, so that's down to £9. Not bad if you get your moneys worth out of it.

all the benefits that "cut the cost" of membership require that you spend more money. Granted, the home match discounts are pretty much a given, provided there's not some horrific T&Cs meaning you can only use it on category C matches or pre selected matches, but if you only buy it to go to away matches then it's not really a benefit.

The half price shirt offer, again requires you to spend money that you may not have originally.

You're not "saving" anything if you're being coaxed into spending more to gain the benefits, which is where the problem lies.

It's still a fantastic offer, but £27 to get your name put in a computer... not really ideal.

Why not send season ticket holders a 15 club shop voucher to make up for it? A season ticket holder is going to go to them 3 games.

What's point in being a season ticket holder if you save next to nothing?
