The imagine what he'd do with a big argument doesn't work for me either. A big budget brings with it expectation and expectation can cause problems a for a manager. Moyes has no expectations, from the owner or the fans. If he finished 15th its because he had no money. He won't get sacked. But if Kenwright suddenly gave him £100m to spend and said you need to finish 4th, it a different stopry. Could he handle it? Who knows? Maybe he doesn't. Then woudl he still be considered a "great" manager.

So you agree, because the expectations aren't there for success, Moyes doesn't have any pressure. And thus you have no idea how well he'd do under pressure at a big club.

HEll, I would love Moyes to win a trophy. But looking at what it has done to clubs outside the top10 in the league (Birmingham/Portsmouth)
