As a 43 year old Blue who's been on the roller coaster that is Chelsea FC since my Dad took me to my first game in 1974, to be challenging for these sort of competitions and to be in the final of the worlds biggest club comp for the second time in 4 years, well, it staggers me actually.
Win or lose (Lose is my prediction though, and has been since the Napoli fist leg) I am proud of this group of players and as far as winning? Just happy to be there tonight.
Its Happy Days fellas, win or lose! It doesn't get much better than what we have been witnessing for the last 8 years!
Come on!!!!
Happy Days!

Feels weird today, right?
I can't change my expectations though, don't want to jinx us!

Yep. As you say in your bio. Its about the journey not the destination. Would be nice to bag the CL though

Thats why for me today feels slightly different, it almost feels like an end of an era really. Drogba is going to leave, Essien may leave, Cole probably won't be playing as much next season and the same goes for lamps. This is probably there last chance of winning it before a new era at chelsea comes and its just giving me some slight....slight hope

Midway through this season i had been put right off of football, and watching Chelsea was depressing, the worst I have experinced. Felt no one was "giving it ago", even in the times of Le Saux and Dixon etc we may not have won so much but the lads played their hearts out and thats all what mattered. RdM turned it all around and i will be honest i was bouncing up and down like a rabbit on red bull and cathine tablets that day in Barca, and even had a tear in my eye from how proud i was with the lads and the moment Torres scored will be one i treasure for years to come. Win or loose tonight as long as they play like we know they can i am once again in love with CFC!
