I am interested to know if the empty seats at today's game was due to them not being available to either club, if everyone that wanted one was able to be there, or if the cost made them unaffordable?
Personally, I think too many tickets are made available to neutrals and wondered if that was the case.
Empty seats at play off.

Why not make the play off final in the midlands? Easier for both teams to get to, being at Wembley just helps West Ham more than Blackpool.

from what i saw on sky there was quite a lot of pool fans especially since its not that big a town and is surrounded by bigger clubs

As a Blackpool fan I'd say that two reasons I wasn't at the game were a) cost of the tickets and b) venue. Why couldn't the game have been played in the midlands, say Villa Park.

Comment in peace to Paynter for England. Blackpool population is approx. 150,000, which I'd respectfully suggest makes it a reasonable sized town.
Surrounded by bigger clubs. You surely don't mean PNE. I take it this means Blackburn and Bolton ? There is absolutely no reason at all why Blackpool couldn't be as big as these two. Without wishing to write at length I'd suggest lack of ambition and very poor decisions by the board of directors have hindered Blackpool FC especially in the 1980's and 1990's.

When we (derby) played in the play off final at wembley, there were tons of empty seats that were all reserved for "club wembley" both derby and west brom sold out the allocation, its not right tbh, so many fans who arent given a chance
