What order do you put the following clubs achievements this season? This is mine:

Chelsea (F.A Cup and Champions League winners)
Arsenal (3rd after that horrific start, and after losing half their team, Current employers of player of the season and groundsman of the season)
Newcastle (Great season, unearthed a few gems of players, Europa League, current employers of goal of the season)

49 across - no sugar daddies is the clue.

I think we can safely say the years of the same teams finishing top 4 each season is over.
=============
Never has been like that. Newcastle, Leeds, Everton, Spurs have all finished top 4, and Villa would have joined that list if they had had a decent manager rather than O'Neil.

You Arsenal fans really do think you've had a decent season
I'll remind you of just how great your third place finish was when your players trudge off the field in next seasons CL

metro, at the beginning of the season the target was clear. Champions League polace for next season.
Same as Liverpool.
One achieved it, the other sacked their manager for failure to do so...
Cups are a nice little bonus, if you get your main target.
Winning the CL or PL would be brilliant but in comparison to other competitors not realistic to demand either.

Metro- aren't you forgetting that your 8th place costed Dalglishs job? even your owners stated very clearly the objective at your club was to finish in the top 4 also considering the ammount of money you spent on cack players i.e. Carrol, flop Downing, Henderson.

A49, that is the funny thing. Before the quarter final v Chelsea even "king" Kenny was downplaying the CC as nothing more of an irritance to the main aim of finishing top 4.
When they were looking a decent bet for top 4 their fans were creaming themselves over it. None of them talked about wanting a CC trophy back then...
They all wanted top 4, and now are using a trophy they often refer as "Mickey Mouse" as a smokescreen for their dissapointments and failures.
