He must be getting really frustrated in the transfer market.
Yet again it seems it's all down to saving money, not just signing someone but now it seems to be a problem paying wages.
What else can he do, he obviously has his hands tied and it's all down to bates
its one thing competing against the likes of leicester etc signing players, but now we can't even pay wages we are screwed if this carrys on.
i am now worried
got to feel for grayson

So you would respect Grayson if he walked out on us Jonty?
I think Bates if failing to match our ambitions with financial reality. If we are moving up the league we must be prepared to offer higher wages in order to attract the better players available. Obviously we shouldnt go back to the days when we would pay stupid wages and fees. Find the balance Kenneth!

i wouldnt blame grayson if he moved on given a chance at a club that is willing to spend a couple of million.
i bet even blackpool spent more when he was in charge, haha

Waccoe, if he feels he is not getting right support to do his job, then I would absolutely respect him if he felt the situation was untenable and we wanted to leave.
A key attribute of anyone successful is knowing when not to, but also when to quit.
One can only assume that he is happy with the way the club is running otherwise he would have taken the choice to leave.

this season will show how good Grayson is a manager!
If he can repeat the start of last season with the squad we have then i'll be very impressed realistically i think we will be hovering around 8th. Unless we get the weaker positions sorted i don't honestly think we can get auto but still make a push for play offs!
As thesnotgrass pointed out with teams like leicester splashing out 5mill on a player and i think already paid out another 5mill on a number of players its gonna be a tough season but i have faith in our team and will follow them all the way to the top!

I trust in Grayson to get us up!

Do you not think that with Bates being such an aggressive and loud mouthed negative character that this puts players off from wanting to come to Leeds.
He treat Schmeichel poorly and these things cannot help Leeds attract players, he works against the clubs interest every time he opens his mouth.

We shouldn't compare ourselves to Fester (they're a bunch of wkrs for a start!) ... they've obviously got someone with cash to spend - we haven't.
Lets just hope they crash and burn, with Sven waltzing off into the distance after failing at yet another club.....

Leicester can only field 11 at once, they are copying M/boro who proved last season that throwing money at it brings no guarantee of success. They are obviously living beyond their means so could be heading for another admin and this time they'll suffer the 10 points deduction.
