LEEDS played in White cos Revie thought it made them look like Real Madrid, when, in fact, with all the blood flying around from their opponents and from the Terraces, they looked more like Butchers Aprons and played like them too.

Not sure why you mentioned that given the police reports have no idea who was behind the attack. Given there is no history of hatred between United and Everton fans and yet there is between the red factions then my guess would be the antagonists would not have been dressed in blue (unless of course they were in disguise <wink>
