I have a feeling Roy may well do OK with England. The expectation level is very low and that is a good thing IMO

Come the 11th of June, hype will be as high as ever amongst the media. I knew this when I saw the BBC previewing it, and Alan Shearer said 'with expectation so low, maybe we can win it'.

I have to say, I like the look of this selection. The balance is actually very good and only Stevie and Parker are (just) over 30.
I'm Welsh, but I have to say that Roy might have got it right, and that's without the only 2 players I'd draw into this line-up - Rooney and Cole.
Perhaps expectation shouldn't be so low.
