yet another huge mistake from the baseball loving yanks, no offence to brendan rodgers but he's been in the prem 1 whole season, and now he's good enough to claim a champions league place for the most sucsessful club in english football, i hope i'm wrong, but i doubt i will be

Just back the manager.

Give him a chance at least, it achieves absolutely nothing if you criticise him without even giving him a game.

You cannot possibly know whether it's a mistake or not! Give the man a chance!

Idiot fans

I utterly despise the negativity from some people.

Look at what RDM has done and he was sacked from West Brom

I think it is perfectly reasonable to question the owners on this one. I don't understand the backlash towards anyone that has a feeling that FSG might be out of their depth.

Rodgers will get my support, but right now I am not at all happy. I reckon most of you lot aren't either.

I'm perfectly happy thanks. If you knew anything about the mans background and training to get this far, and his philosophy you might review your opinion.

Let's see who comes in as DOF who will hopefully be the name to attract the right sort of player too.

Reputation doesn't equal success. What makes you think a 'bigger name' will fair any better than a young manager with more than 15 years coaching experience under his belt?

He also looks much older than his actual age which is always annoying if you look young for your age but is comforting when you're not mistaken for an old codger and shouted at for wearing slacks.

I think a bigger name from a bigger club could handle the press better and not buckle under the pressure. They would also have experience in absorbing pressure from the players and getting the most out of them.

Of course, there is nothing to say Rodgers cannot do that, but we have no evidence. He has never been at a club like LFC before.

The more boxes a manager ticks, the more confidence you have in them. For me, there are other managers that tick more boxes. I'm still not feeling too bad about Rodgers though, esp not with our new DOF.
