to be fair i think its one of those things that at times you have to do.

as a smaller club teams like cardiff dont get the tv exposure etc so need to find ways of making some extra cash.

some fans wont like it, but i bet they'd like it less if the club was struggling financially like pompy

It should say "est 2012" on the badge! at Cardiff.

There is a difference between updating a badge and just ripping off the national team!

To be fair Palace did the same thing back when we were the Glaziers. Maybe some of the more senior members on here might remember it?

It's shows what is happening to modern football. Years ago it was about supporting your local team whereas now it's a global thing. I wouldn't be surprised if more people in Croydon watch Barca or Real Madrid than Palace!

Yeah I saw that. Probably so all the new fans they are meant to win over in Asia won't ask "why are they called the bluebirds?"

I like the "est 1899" bit because it's like they want to form a new club but just can't give up those runner-up medals and welsh cup trophies

This was the Club I really preferred to go up in the PlayOffs, given Blackpool is a good weekend away, Birmingham is a good day out & West Ham is only up the road from me.

‘FIRE & PASSION’ WTF?! & What’s with the Bluebird? If the owners want change, than drop what was previously there! Same with us, if the 2010 Owners want change, than why did all the designs (A-F) include an Eagle? :/
