An Interview with Simon Garner

The figures do not stack up. BRSIT wish to run the club at break-even, not for profit, but the finance required remains huge. We would still need to sell to survive.

If anything went belly up under the ownership of the fans there would not be sufficient reserves available to cope.

I have to say I think this is a total non-starter.

1) we will not get 16000 fans donating £1000

2) even if we did the venkys will not sell for this amount

3) if they did how do we operate on a day by day basis re cashflow- ask the fans for even more money?

Garner=Legend but as above none of this stacks up for me.

Perhaps Garner should fly a plane over Pune !!
