Hi.
I am interested in purchasing a tractor, but not sure where are the best places to get a bargain.
I understand that you are the tractor boys.... so maybe you could help me source one?
Thanks

Alright Chronic
Unfortunately these Tractor Boys arent as good as they used to be, when i was a lad the Tractor boys knew everything about Tractors - but sionce i now live in a rural area i thought i would share some info, and hopefully it helps
I think you want a John Deere 6140, which is ideal for urban use due to its 2400mm wheelbase
As you probably know It has a type2, 3-point hitch with a lifting capacity over 2600kg, i deal for those awkward city situations
The hydraulics system is as you would expect: a closed PFC system which would also suit your urban needs, Obviously the Engine delivers over 70kw and the inedepndant rear PTO delivers a disapointing 67kw (so consider carefully what yo will be running through the PTO!!)
Of course it has the John Deere Powerquad system for those icy untreated towny roads in the winter and you can pick a good 2001 example up for around £15-16k
