With a future for England. How many can you name? I find it astounding that a country who's mentality for years has been grit over grace doesn't have many good young defensive midfielders coming through.

Llana is more of a 10. A stylish one too, and arguably saints most prem suited player.
It's a shame Frimpong chose not to rep England.

I am just not a fan of defensive midfielders per sei i know they're a dying breed but i prefer guys who can offer something both going forward and defensively. I don't think being competent in both areas is that big an ask yet we have players like Tiote being hailed as a quality player yet his main "attribute" is to kick opponents.

Saint-Ford
I was there when he scored a beauty against Birmingham in the league cup a couple of years ago. My old man lives in East Dorset so go to both Saints and Bournemouth games when I'm in the UK.
I love Saint Mary's. Great stadium.

merrysupersteve yet we have roy keane who is hailed one of the greats for kicking people

I think Roy Keane had a lot more to his game than kicking people. Tiote on the other hand most certainly does not. If you can find some mugs willing to pay a big transfer fee for him, fair play. You can easily replace him. Keane on the other hand couldn't be easily replaced. As we have found out to our detriment.

He is a fantastic talent I agree, look forward to him shining in the Prem next year. I quite like Bournemouth as well seeing as they are relatively local, although it was funny when they tried creating a rivalry when we were in same division couple years back
St Mary's is okay I suppose, not a massive fan, it's just boring.

merry you clearly have never seen him play. He dominated you in tha match this year at st james

I have seen him play a lot. Dominating our midfield is nothing to shout about and even then if committed four galore. How did he fair against Citys midfield? I seem to remember him being bypassed but still finding time to get a booking for a ludicrous slide tackle from behind. He is painfully limited. Watching him attempt to do anything positive with a football is akin to watching Stephen Hawking trying to run a marathon.
