New home kit

The new home kit has been released and it looks just like the one from 2 seasons ago. Seems a waste of time and money to me.

I have asked the club why we are on our 4th home kit and 3rd away kit in 4 years! I seem to recall premiership clubs got a lot of flack for such behaviour a few years ago.

Seems the club are trying to eek every last penny out of the fans in a time of severe financial meltdown. Or in simple terms they are taking the p15s!!!

The problem for the club is that with not changing the home strip markedly, few people will buy. They have changed the away strip and I suspec t more people will buy that rather than the "new" old home strip.

Usually you change your strpis if you get a new sponsor or new kit supplier, that has not happened. Mind you, being over in the States, I can wear my Rovers shirt with pride as they all think I support the Yanks. ( Their new strip is 95% the same as ours, supplied by Nike).

I would go with the first comment. I have not seen a report of the Forum yet but, suspicious as I am I will not pass judgement.......................................JUST YET

One of the advantages of being old and portly is that NO-ONE wants to see me in a football shirt. Scarf, silly hat - yes, shirt - no.
