Lame Reporting Or Desperate Chairman ?

I would say that i have probably got something on here. i stated that bales bookmarked fridge's post, whereas theres no real evidence that this was the case, as bales points out.

it's prefectly possible that he had just remembered the post and then went back to it, and there's certainly no reason to be critical of someone for having a good memory.

whilst i blieve that the other comments i made were valid, i ought to take that particular point back.

it was so hard to say i might have got a point wrong that i mistyped it

i very rarely look at the crotia thread these days, but have just done so for the 2nd time today and saw this thread referenced.

tbh, i dont understand Bale's' and oddiy' assessment of this thread in the slightest.

if you actually read the thread, you will see that bale's picks on another poster a) for being hypocritical and b) for allegedly having put another poster's back up by making a personal attack in a previous thread. He finishes his contribution to the thread by doing exactly the same to me and then apparently going off in a strop and filtering me..

His allegation on the croatia thread this afternoon that i followed him round the board is a complete fabrication.

We fell out because he sided against me when I fell out with 4th place, even though we had appeared to get on very well until that point. I then felt that he contributed towards me being banned from the site.

My comment on this thread (which was not a part of any sort of campaign against bale's as referred to on the croatia thread today), was to point out that the alleged personal attack which bale's referenced could not have been the cause of the argument with the other poster. That other poster subsequently acknowledged this in this thread.

Once I had pointed out that bale's comment was wrong, he asked me who exactly i thought I was to comment on one of his posts. This remarkable statement, was in spite of having done the same himself on the same thread with another poster. He then started hurling personal abuse at me (as he had criticised the other poster for doing to another poster) and then filtered me in a fit of frustrated rage, in spite of the fact that my comments on this thread are perfectly valid and that his appear not to be.

It strikes me that Bale's is of the view that I should make an effort to demonstrate some sort of particular respect for him, since he was handed the croatia thread by default. I have no interest whatsoever in bottom licking someone because they are the OP on a popular thread on a messaging site, and if I see him make an error such as the one he made on this thread, I consider myself as at liberty to comment upon it as I would with any other poster, and as he has done (erroneously) himself with a poster on this very thread. If such an attitude means that I am unable to post on the croata thread which he has been handed by default, then I shall have to face those consequences with whatever fortitude I am able to muster. In other words - so be it, I really couldnt give a fak
