Most Underrated Game

ENSLAVED, i bought his game because it was cheap and the guy behind the shop said it was amazing., part of me thought he was just wanting to clear the shelves and or get me out of the shop as it was 4:45 and after flicking through every game on the rack he must have sensed my futility and frustration.

Anyhoo i started the game, and immediately knew i was playing something very very different. Wild camera angles, and strange game physics.

The first 5 minutes are a bit strange, and are mainly you getting used to the system of play, however its not long before you are in a fight.

First thing you notice is you have no gun, which is very strange in this day and age, yet surprisingly refreshing and dare i say satisfying as you cave your enemy`s head in!(robots), using acrobatic combos and grapple takedowns.

As far as the non combat gameplay goes, you soon realize that this game has some of the most devastatingly epic scenarios that leave you physically frozen, as you contemplate what the hell you just encountered.

The voice acting is world class, and that is no over exaggeration.

Im only half way through so i cannot comment fully on the storyline, but so far it is a mixture of love story, mysterious flashbacks, powerups, peril and mystique.

Its on Ebay for less than a fiver, i seriously recommend you get it!

ign rated it 8/10, yet it does not get the respect it deserves from gamers, largely due to its lack of PR.

GET THIS GAME!!!!

Are there any other hidden Gems that you guys have played, that have fallen under the radar?

The real fun is playing 4 player co-op online. I see what you're saying though. Same with Borderlands. Useless if not playing co-op IMO.

I'm glad that Borderlands is also a split screen co-op game as I don't think I would have been able to get my character to level 50 (And therefore get the platinum trophy) as quick as I did.

Another underrated game I was reminded of last night was EDF a game thats not the best when it comes to graphics, plotline or in game physics but is still worth picking up for a cut price due to the fact that its a very B Movie looking game (Giant insects and Robots take over parts of the city and it is up to you to stop them with a number of overpowered weapons that can also accidentally blow buildings up pretty easily).

Pirates of the Caribbean. Not the movie game but the PC RPG. Was very very good

I think Wet and Tomb Raider Underworld fall into this bracket.

Agree with Pirates of the Caribbean - that was a great game.

The original Deus Ex was unbelievably good and so far ahead of its time but I never meet people who've actually played it..! And I've already misposted how much I like Morrowind in the overrated games thread. That was a proper RPG.
