Ben Smith from the BBC seems to think a deal with Sigurdsson is close. Don't know how reliable he is though.

That was yesterday, as far as I'm concerned I said what needed saying it's now consigned to the past.
I'd rather concentrate on more important and interesting things such as LFC.

I take odds with a pinch of salt, they mean nothing as far as I'm concerned. Although interestingly within the past few hours we are favourites again to sign him.
