I see we're interested in Aluko of Rangers? From what I've seen he looks pretty good and would be a decent signing. But sometimes it's difficult to tell who's good in the SPL and who's not. However if these players reject their new contracts then could sign them up for free.
Steven Naismith has said he's leaving Rangers and is a decent player. Whittaker has also left and I reckon there would be a few clubs interested.
I don't really know much about Scottish football and don't like to be the vultures in this situation but these players have already said they won't be playing in Division 3. Does anyone know any potential Rangers players? Hopefully not Kyle Lafferty!

On the other hand look at Jelavic. Left Rangers and did really well for Everton. Alan Hutton is another one that left Rangers and is a PL player.
But don't think we can afford those type of players.

That is one player, looking at the bigger picture, how many other players that have come down from the SPL have made the grade, very few.
Most of the decent Scottish players are snapped up as kids by the Bigger English clubs, I know Chelsea used to bring a lot down, Palace in the past also imported young players from Scotland.

Yeah like Jim Cannon. Apparently he signed for Palace because he saw us on MOTD and liked our kit!
Scottish football is on a downward spiral and I agree with you that any good players would have been taken. Just look at how many young Scottish and Irish players Man Utd have.
