All the players above were slated and labelled traitor, mercenary and god knows what else and they never spent half their time at the club injured. The second each of them never a signed a new contract saying they wanted more from Arsenal, you all turned on them. So my question is simply...
Why are you not all holding RVP to the same standard? How comes he's not a traitor etc?
This is clear cut for me. He hasn't spent enough of his time at this club actually playing to justify any sorts of demands on it. At the time, Ashley Cole had more of a right to make his demand of Arsenal so if he's a then why isn't Robin Van Persie???

My point is nobody waited for the others to actually leave before branding them a traitor for not signing. Obviously you'll all do that if he goes. But at the moment there's so much RVP but-kissing going on. You're all talking about the bloke like he's given the club two or three seasons like last season.

so what do you guys think vp is going to do? Ive heard hes pretty settled in london and his family happy and that etc, so that could play a part, but why would he let his contract run down if he wasnt going? Surely the arsenal board wont let him leave for free next season, so surely its either sign now or he will have to be sold, i hope he doesnt go to city, do you think barca could be contenders for him?

RVP is not a traitor cos we all accept that he has a better chance of winning trophies at another Club & at 28yrs old, you can't begrudge him if he decides to leave.

maybe hes not a traitor because its clear he does love the club, the others didnt seem to care...
not to mention single handedly dragging us into 3rd place this season
