News on 'Disrespectful' Pogba

I've seen quite a few people asking what the latest situation is with Pogba. Indeed earlier today there was a thread discussing the fact there'd be no significant news for weeks now, so having just read a Guardian article on the subject, after SAF had spoken to MUTV, I thought I'd pass on links to those interested.

The Team Talk one refers to the same information as the Guardian, but includes SAF references to Fryers. He seems to be suggesting Fryers must be coming back after the summer on the basis no-one's heard a thing from the lad or his agent despite the contract remaining unsigned, but reading between the lines I'd put more money on him leaving.

Essentially SAF confirmed the deal was done a long time ago as far as the club are aware, and criticised Pogba by saying

"(It) is disappointing. I don't think he showed us any respect at all so, to be honest," he said. "I'm quite happy that if they carry on that way, they're probably better doing it away from us."

Not really a surprise, and I'm glad it's finally over. I hope the club refuse to deal with his agent again, despite his sucking up to SAF in the press, and can people please consider my blood pressure and refrain from saying Pogba left to get regular first team football when that's patently not the case given the competition there in CM, their new buys and targets in CM, the fact teenage Pogba has no experience of Italian football, and Conte has already said he wants to assess whether the kid should be loaned out, adjust in the reserves or train with the first team.

Pogba's agent has help Juventus sign a few players. must be a link there. We'll only know if we missed out on him if in a few years time he is doing what Alba did after leaving Barca.

Good luck Pogba, you will learn in time the error of your ways

fergie also said he feels he didn't treat berbatov with a lack of respect. I would beg to differ on that, top scorer in the league one season then demoted to 4th choice striker the next with no explanation, and even when strikers where not firing he wasn't used.

and of course no young strikers have ever signed for united after another club putting in all the ground work have they....... one rule for one...

Im sure you are right here. The same agent got a multimillion pound bonus for getting an Ajax youngster to do the same in Jan.

However, I dont think SAF can complain too much, especially when it comes to Pogba. Atferall we lured Pogba away from Le Havre, and to be fair as Scouse Heart mentioned we've done very similar, if not exactly the same approach, lots of times.
