Its a little sad that having spent years building yourself to become the best/one of the best around, all it takes is a handful of less than average showings for the nay sayers to be out in force.

Ashley Cole had a season to forget both and and off the field. Has he suddenly become average?

Evra is still the best LB at the club, and we have had 4 defenders try that position last year (O Shea, Evans, Fabio and Evra).

He's not as good as he was but still better than all but the very top players.

Evra is quality. Dont know what the OP is on about. Probably wumming a little.

Having said that, to say he's over-rated on the back of 1 bad season is daft, he's been one of the most consistent, ever present performers in an all conquering Man United outfit
